The story behind it. Windsurfing is freedom on the water: just you, the sail and the wind. This round pendant shows an etched windsurfer silhouette that catches the light as you move, so the rider seems to skim across the glass the way you skim across the bay.

Made for the beach. The design is etched into dichroic glass and fused between layers of glass in our kiln, so it is sealed inside: it can't wear off, fade or scratch away. Full fusing gives the pendant a smooth, domed shape that is strong enough for everyday wear in the surf. The glass is fine in salt water. The natural leather cord is made to last, holding up for years of beach days and ocean swims.

What is dichroic glass? Dichroic glass has a thin metallic layer that reflects one color and lets another pass through, so the colors shift as you move. It is very hard to photograph, so in person it is even more vivid than the photos.
