A small cross that catches the light, made in the USA. In our studio on Florida's Gulf Coast we water jet cut each cross from fused dichroic glass, fire it in the kiln and finish it by hand, then hang it on a stainless steel chain and pack it in a Zulasurfing gift box.

Dichroic glass holds a thin, mirror-like coating that changes color as the light moves across it. Indoors it glows softly; in the sun it sparkles like a thousand tiny diamonds. This Gold cross glows a warm gold with flashes of green and cyan.

Glass and stainless steel are waterproof and do not tarnish, so this is beach jewelry she never has to take off: the ocean, the pool, the shower, and church on Sunday. A good size for girls, teens and women, and a meaningful gift for confirmation, baptism, first communion, Easter, Christmas, a birthday or Mother's Day.
