Butterfly Necklace for Women, Handmade Dichroic Glass Butterfly Jewelry Gift, Silver

$ 42.00

A small, meaningful butterfly to wear every day. In our studio on Florida's Gulf Coast, we etch a dark butterfly silhouette into dichroic glass, fuse it in the kiln, then hand-grind it round and fire it again for strength. Dichroic glass catches the light and shimmers bright silver as you move.

It hangs on a smooth black Greek leather cord that slides to adjust from 14 to 24 inches, so it sits high like a choker or lower on the chest, with no clasp. The round pendant is about 7/8 inch across and weighs about 8 grams.

Many cultures see the butterfly as a sign of change, hope and new beginnings, which makes it a thoughtful gift for a birthday, Christmas, Mother's Day, graduation or a fresh start. It arrives in a gift box, ready to give. To care for it, wipe the glass with a soft damp cloth and rinse the cord with fresh water after a swim.
