what is Dichroic Glass:
Dichroic glass is a high-tech spin-off of glass used in the space industry. The unique brilliance of Dichroic glass can only be experienced firsthand. The colors are very vivid, metallic, and change according to the angle they are viewed from.
Dichroic glass pendant photo is only a representation given the variances in photography and the fact that Dichroic glass is most challenging to photograph due to the change of colors from various perspectives.
All pendants are fused, and The glass is then annealed and slowly cooled for strength and durability. After cooling and depending on how the piece results, it may require being shaped and trimmed, then put back in the kiln and "fire-polished" to a smooth finish.
