A slim waterproof cross necklace made by hand in our Florida studio, a few miles from the Gulf. It's made from solid 304 stainless steel, so you never have to take your faith off for the water.
THE STORY BEHIND IT
Water runs all through the Christian story. Jesus called His first disciples from their fishing boats on the Sea of Galilee, calmed the storm and walked on the waves, and every believer's walk starts with baptism. We made this cross for people who live close to the water: surfers, fishermen, divers and beach lovers who want to carry their faith into the sea, not leave it on the towel.
HOW IT'S MADE
Each pendant is waterjet-cut from 304 stainless steel in two pieces: a narrow bar and a small cross. The bar is heat-treated by hand to a dark, smoky gunmetal finish. The brushed-silver cross is welded on top, so it stands slightly raised with real depth. It hangs on a reddish-brown round leather cord with sliding knots.

WHY STAINLESS STEEL

CARE
The steel can go anywhere water goes. Rinse with fresh water after the ocean or pool and let the leather cord air dry on its own. The hand heat-treated finish softens slowly with wear, giving each pendant its own character.
