It is chanted at the start and end of prayers, mantras and yoga practice, and it is also honored in Buddhist and Jain traditions. The three sounds A, U and M are often explained as waking, dreaming and deep sleep, and the silence after them as pure awareness. The Om symbol is cut out in our Florida studio for precise, detailed edges, and mounted in stainless steel cut by water jet. The setting is durable and precise, and gives the glass pendant a modern, sleek look.

Made for the beach. The design is etched into dichroic glass and fused between layers of glass in our kiln, so it is sealed inside: it can't wear off, fade or scratch away. Full fusing gives the pendant a smooth, domed shape that is strong enough for everyday wear in the surf. The glass is fine in salt water. Our 316L stainless steel is fine in salt water. It won't rust, tarnish or turn your skin green. The natural leather cord is made to last, holding up for years of beach days and ocean swims.

What is dichroic glass? Dichroic glass has a thin metallic layer that reflects one color and lets another pass through, so the colors shift as you move. It is very hard to photograph, so in person it is even more vivid than the photos.

The photo is only a representation: dichroic glass is very hard to photograph because the colors change with the angle you view it from.
